Nothing makes a statement more than a simplistic slogan t-shirt these days. And with powerful quotes, and sayings being used most recently like Be Kind to support and pay tribute to former Love Island presenter Caroline Flack who passed away earlier this year. Or the homages to the NHS who have been working hard to treat Coronavirus victims - there's no better way to make a point at this time.

Whether you're teaming it with a pair of trackies, joggers or jeans, a slogan tee will always add that extra something to the most simplest of outfits. And as it gets warmer, wearing it oversized with a pair of shorts, or even as a dress (depending on how big you get it), will complete your chilled summer days look.

So if you're looking to add a little edge to your lockdown outfits, and not break the bank while doing it - check out some of my favourite slogan tees, that will not only look great this spring, but all year round. And I promise, they won't leave a dent in your pockets too much.

Tajha wearing Femme Luxe Finery Grey Cropped Cuffed Joggers Loungewear Set - Lauren

With the UK, and many other countries around the world on lockdown, there's plenty of time now to find all sorts of ways to keep yourself entertained. And if you're a serial shopper, like myself - without a doubt, your inbox will be filled with loungewear mail.

From Femme Luxe Finery, to Topshop and In The Style, the high street has gone loungewear mad (because what else can we wear), so there couldn't be a better time to bag a stylish jogger set or two. And look cute while we stay home, and safe.

Grey Cropped Cuffed Joggers Loungewear Set - Lauren

For only £26.99 (with the TKE10 discount code), I bagged this grey cropped jogger set from my loungewear go-to Femme Luxe Finery. While also available in black, grey felt like an obvious choice to buy for once we can make the most of the spring and summer weather. Plus teamed with a pair of white kicks, like these Puma Cali Sport Chunky trainers (which I saved 31% on in the OFFICE flash sale), it looks cool enough to rock on a cooler spring or summer day.

So if you're looking for more casual looks to wear this spring/summer, or just fancy mixing up your stay at home look from your day and night PJs - take advantage of all the loungewear discounts while you stay home and stay safe.

Check out some of my favourite sets.

From Missguided, to Femme Luxe Finery and Pretty Little Thing, the days of the LBD are no more with the rise of the ruched mini dress on the online high street.

The range is endless, with mesh sleeves, to satin finishes - whatever takes your fancy. And for me, it was the mesh sleeved style, particularly this one from Missguided in a black rose print.

Opting to wear it off the shoulder, I teamed this mini number with a pair of midi perspex mules from Simmi London. With midi dresses usually being my staple, initially I was worried about how covered I'd feel in this mini. However, the ruched fitting allowed the dress to sit firmly on my hips, without riding up, plus the long sleeves being mesh allowed me feel a bit covered, but not too hot. Making this buy from Missguided a winner (plus the red rose print went perfectly with my red lippie).

So if you've got a night out coming up, or even a fancy date night planned with the mr and you're looking for a dress guaranteed to impress - head over to Missguided to check out their range of ruched mini dresses here.
