Typically we all make New Years resolutions to go gym and give up as soon as it hits February. But in my case, the gym sessions have turned up a notch and the need to invest in a quality pair of gym tights has been more than essential.

And the Nike Pro JDI training tights have certainly fit the bill, with its high-waisted fit and fast drying material which hides any trace of sweat *phew.

Whether it's leg day or full on cardio, these tights feel far from restrictive while fitting so snug on your legs. And the bonus is that it was reduced in the sales from £37.95 to £26.47!

But if that style isn't exactly what you're looking for, there's a few more styles from the range that is easy on the pockets and look equally as good.

If you haven't already bought into the hype of Black Friday, then this is the year to finally get into it.

When Black Friday was first introduced to the British high street, like many I believed that it was nothing compared to the likes of the US and it's next-to-nothing prices after spending Thanksgiving in New York a few years ago.

But believe it or not, the UK is catching up fast and whether you're looking to start your Christmas shopping or treat yourself to that bag you've had your eyes on for months - here are the discounts you NEED to look out for all weekend long!

You can enjoy 30% off everything at Mango using Black17 and then an either further 70% off the already heavily discounted Mango Outlet - expect things to go super quick here.

You're looking at up to 40% off the big brands like Ralph Lauren, Ted Baker and even UGGs reduced from £165 to £132! But UGG themselves even have some killer discounts as well.

You've got up till Monday night to make the most of up to 50% off everything at UGG across women, men and kids (handy if you have any little ones to think about this Christmas).

If you had your eye on a new season Michael Kors cross-body (like myself), enjoy 20% off EVERYTHING in-store with a print-out voucher and online using the code SELFCCE.

Expecting this may even go up more, ASOS is offering 20% off everything. Extra worthwhile if you've earned yourself a money-off voucher as an ASOS A-Lister.

Taking the shine away from TOPSHOP this Black Friday, Miss Selfridge is doing up to 50% off everything! Including an extra 10% off if you order online using MSBF10!

Rome is one of those cities full of endless things to do. And for that reason, you need to be prepared to walk and equally dressed for comfort!

Depending on whichever time of year you decide to go and in particular, or whatever attractions you visit like the Colosseum or the Vatican City, it's essential to pack comfy shoes, culottes or trousers, jeans, and vest tops or t-shirts. Not forgetting a light jacket to wear in the churches, as well in the night especially in the autumn.

So if you're heading to the Eternal city anytime, here's a few ideas of what you can wear on holiday to Rome

Off-the-shoulder tops

Looks great with culottes or jeans and not too hugging on the skin, this style is perfect for those warm sunny days - as well as ideal for a day to evening look.

Culottes

Culottes are looser on the hips and a great choice for strolling in on them hotter days while sightseeing.

Jeans

Depending on the time of year that you visit Rome, jeans are a great staple to team with a vest or tee, especially in the slightly cooler autumn months. And if you're planning to visit St Peters Basilica where you can't show your legs, skinny or MOM jeans work perfectly.

Espadrilles

Easy to slip on and off, if you prefer to leave your trainers at the hotel on a day of sightseeing, then these are also great for walking in.

Leather Jackets

For chillier nights, a leather biker is your best friend. Small enough to carry in your hand luggage, and warm enough to wear with a long t-shirt or jeans - its perfect for a city break.
